Music whisks away the dust of life,
Rekindling old joy, love or strife.
Capturing all the dusty particles of your memory once more,
Empowering your soul… giving it the power to soar.

 

Whenever I hear “Satchmo”, I’m flooded with memories from long ago,
Daddy, our teens, and life at UT just seem to flow and flow.
The music washes away the present and takes me back to my youth,
Carrying with it glimpses of what must be a universal truth.

 

Music enables you to transcend the worries of everyday being,
While the music plays, it touches the inner self and makes one all seeing.
From deep within each of us our feelings surge,
Emanating from the soul and letting pure love emerge.
