Control

When you let someone “control”, you silently suffer,
Closeness intensifies feeling, but provides no buffer.
Control is fed by what’s going on inside.
This problem must be confronted, it cannot hide.
By choosing to control you are choosing the consequences as well.
Demeaning another puts both of you in a silent hell.
When you vent your rage upon another,
You’re being controlling and some feeling you’re trying to smother.
Get real and recognize what’s the source of your pain.
Until you do this, you’ll be controlling again and again.
So, get professional help or analyze yourself the best you can.
Most likely, you know what the problem is, but you don’t want to take a stand.
